Derek and Joe did a fantastic job! We have a terraced house, just outside the city, so it's not a big space but it had a steep slope and was completely unusable. Derek went through everything with me initially....how I envisage using the space and different designs and materials that would suit.
We decided on paving brick with steps creating different levels in the backyard.
The team were really diligent, hardworking, and clean. It took just over a week to complete and we are thrilled with the end result. So happy we went with Derek's suggestions. I completely trusted his opinion on what would work in the space and we've ended up with an outside space that we love and can actually use! Thanks so much!

I would highly recommend Derek & his highly skilled DTE team. I am based in Limerick & initially started with a consultation with Derek back in January & a plan was agreed. Derek provided plenty of helpful advice on hedging/plants/ kerbs/patio & seating area stone which would suit both my site & budget. The DTE team did a complete garden transformation starting with planting of surrounding hedging, laying of kerbs, construction of a beautiful limestone grey seating area which exceeded my expectations along with planting of flower beds & trellis. Throughout the process Derek & his team went through everything & checked in throughout to ensure I was happy with the materials/slabs/stones/flowers etc.. The DTE team are perfectionist! I am absolutely delighted with the finish job & looking forward to enjoying a long summer out in garden. Thank you Derek & your team

Derek called to us and gave us some great ideas to replace our worn out decking and overgrown rockery flower bed. Derek and his team replaced the decking with limestone paving slabs and had to cut around some difficult angles. They completely revamped the flower bed. His team also assembled a large steel pergola for our outdoor furniture. The work that was done was top class. Derek is a perfectionist and his team are extremely professional. We are really happy with the way the transformation of our outdoor space.

We love our new garden! After moving into our home, the garden was just a basic, green patch of waterlogged grass with a depressing-looking, stone wall at the back and we knew we needed to do something about it quick! It wasn't long before we found Derek and his team online and after presenting them with our own design, they were up for the challenge and they delivered 100%! They were very thorough with their work and helpful with choosing the right materials for the job. Easy to communicate and discuss any potential adjustment or improvements and worked really well with other groups involved (we ordered our garden shed from another company and Derek helped with preparing the foundations for it). Overall, we're extremely happy with how our garden turned out, and one year later since the work was completed, we can't wait to spend the summer outside with our friends and the dog! Thank you again for the work you've done and if we need more landscaping done in the future, we will definitely contact Derek and his team again!

Derek took on a very difficult design challenge for our outdoor space - we are delighted with the end result. The seating area and planting for shade will really help us make the most of our garden this summer. The work done was to the highest standard and excellent value for money. Absolutely excellent work from Derek and Joe on our back garden. Went from an uneven and patchy swamp to a neat and defined paved patio. I can’t recommend the guys highly enough - great attention to detail. Derek answered the hundred queries we had about the process and we really appreciated all the suggestions for certain aspects of the paving. The process was so convenient and the guys were very clean. Great prices too, so give them a call, you won’t regret it!

I gave Derek a 5 star rating simply because his work ethic and attention to detail was fantastic he turned a messy awkward and sloped site into a finished beautiful garden by taking out the hassle of cutting the grass on the slope and instead adding a maintenance free slope with shrubs for every season topped off with decorative stone and a loose stacked stone wall along the edge looks amazing. Front and back gardens were laid to perfection bordered with laurel hedging and he even managed to disguise the septic bio cycle by surrounding it again with decorative stone and shrubs,we've even booked Derek for next year to come back and lay our patio area. I can't recommend Derek highly enough for his work, advice and cost cutting solutions not to mention his easy going personality

Clad entrance walls with limestone and capped with Granite 4. Laid new gravel driveway and constructed a new plant bedding area. Both Derek and Michael are extremely fussy about the quality of their workmanship,they would constantly go back and check a job until they were happy with the results. They are both very artistic and offer unique solutions which give the customer one off garden designs. He gave great suggestions and showed me the flaws in my own design. he organised all from materials to minidigger to chippings and paving and proceeded with the job very neatly within a couple of weeks. There was no issues and i would highly recommend him. i have got loads of compliments on the design and hope to get him back next year to landscape my front garden.

Down to Earth were very helpful in designing what we wanted, they did what we wanted to a top class finish, and couldn't a better job. Delighted with the work done. The job pricing was reasonable, and the work top class. Communication is great and nothing is done without thorough consultation,and when working, wouldn't know they were around the place. Have organized for more work to be done in the winter, tree planting. Highly recommend and look forward to dealing with Down to Earth again.
